Engine 61, CF6A and CF6B operated on this 2nd alarm house fire in Co. 7’s area (Banneker). Units arrived on location of a three story end of the group town home with heavy fire showing from side “A” on all three floors, due to the conditions upon arrival and a “all clear” confirmed by the residence; units immediately went to defensive operations. Savage units arrived on location and were put right to work, CF6A was assigned the “Bravo 1” exposure along with Engine 61. Crews went to work opening up and checking for horizontal fire spread. CF6B arrived and was assigned the “Alpha division” of the original fire building and worked with multiple crew’s to bring the fire under control. Crew’s operated for approxamitly 3 hours.
